On September 12, 1970, Josie and the Pussycats premiered on CBS-TV, one of several cool cartoon shows that I watched that year. Josie and the gang were characters of Archie Comics, brought to animation by Hanna-Barbera Studios. Between The Archies, Josie, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch, the years 1968 through 1970 were the very best in Saturday morning entertainment—at least for me!
